Manchester native takes majority ownership over Coffee County Funeral Chapel and Tullahoma Funeral Home

Kaitlyn Gribble McAdams and her husband Brian McAdams have stake to majority ownership of both funeral homes and Tullahoma Funeral Home.Kaitlyn Gribble McAdams and her husband Brian McAdams recently took majority ownership in Manchester Funeral Home, Coffee County Fu-neral Chapel and Tul-lahoma Funeral Home. They are pictured with daughters Brylyn (front left) and Madison.-Photo provided“I was actually preparing to leave for a job in a different industry,” explained Kaitlyn McAdams, who has been the general manager of both Manchester Funeral Home and Coffee Funeral Chapel since the summer of 2016 while Brian was managing the Tullahoma Funeral Home. “But the ownership said that if I stayed they wanted to give me and Brian majority ownership in all three.”“It’s a dream come true,” she continued. “I’ve wanted to be a funeral director since I was 14. Being [in ownership] has been my ultimate goal and something I always aimed for, but to have that at 28-years old is amazing.”Both Kaitlyn and Brian are currently going back to school to get their bachelor’s degrees in funeral service management.But for now, they are already making noticeable changes to the business operations. Manchester Funeral Home will be returning to the original logo it used when it first opened in 1932.Kaitlyn says she will work with any budget.“We want people to feel at home. [Manchester Funeral Home] has been here the longest and we want to bring the focus back to the tradition,” she said.“We have control over the pricing structures and will work with any budget,” Kaitlyn explained. “We will accept any pre-arrangements that were made by another facility, and we will transfer that and honor those prices.Grief supportBenny BenjaminKaitlyn announced the launch of a grief support program under the director of Benny Benjamin, who is on staff at all three funeral homes.The support group meets at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursdays at Coffee County Funeral Chapel.“This is something that is for anyone who needs it,” Kaitlyn explained. “You don’t have to use our funeral homes to participate.”Manchester Fune...
